Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran: Shakira’s comeback album includes collaborations and intriguing musical pieces

Music icon Shakira has offered a perfect treat to her fans. The artist has shared the track list of her upcoming album, 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,' set to release on March 22. The album marks Shakira's return to the spotlight after seven years, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in her illustrious career. The Colombian artist described the album as an "alchemical process," where each song represents a personal and transformative journey. Having won two Latin Grammy Awards for 'Music Sessions Vol. 53' last year, Shakira's comeback signals a powerful resurgence in the music scene.

The album includes a star-studded lineup, featuring Cardi B on the opening track, titled 'Puntería.' With a total of 16 tracks, including new releases and previous collaborations, Shakira's transformative musical journey promises to captivate fans once again.


Talking about Cardi B's collaboration with Shakira, the inaugural track 'Puntería,' has stirred significant anticipation. The duo's connection became apparent during a chance meeting at a Paris fashion show last summer, where Cardi expressed her admiration for Shakira.

Further, as aforementioned the album boasts a diverse range of collaborations, including Tejano group Grupo Frontera on the track '(Entre Paréntesis),' positioned as the fifth song in the lineup. Additionally, Rauw Alejandro, a previous collaborator with Shakira, will contribute his vocals to the track 'Cohete.' The album also features a remix of 'Music Sessions Vol. 53,' the Latin Grammy-winning collaboration between Shakira and Bizarrap, skillfully reimagined by the renowned DJ Tiësto.


Besides these collaborations, there are eight new songs in the album that showcase Shakira's musical evolution. It also features previously released collaborations with Latin music giants like Karol G, Manuel Turizo, Ozuna, and Fuerza Regida.
