A fan page posted a photo of what appeared to be Liam with his arms wrapped around a woman. "Liam and Maya look so cute here," the post read and tagged Maya in the picture.
Interestingly, the woman in question was not the model, who took to the comments and wrote, "I love all of the fans so much but please stop sending me these pictures of my fiancé wrapped around another woman. This is not me and it's hard enough knowing this has happened without seeing it. Enough now."

However, contrary to the rumours, Liam and Maya called it quits on their engagement about a month ago and the singer has since moved on. The star was photographed walking at the airport arm in arm with the brunette, who many noted had a striking resemblance to his former fiancée.
Despite the end of their relationship, Maya referred to Liam as her 'fiance' in the post, which those close to the singer, have dubbed as 'very misleading'.
A source told MailOnline, "Liam and Maya are no longer together and split up for good over a month ago. Maya’s comments referring to Liam as her fiance are untrue and very misleading."
The brunette in question previously starred in Liam's 2018 music video for 'Familiar'.
Payne's relationship with Henry has been far from smooth. The couple called it quits on their engagement last June, less than a year after making the happy announcement.
However, the couple who have been in an on and off romance since 2019, rekindled their romance in August 2021, E! News reported.
In an interview with People, Liam admitted that both of them 'went through a lot' in lockdown but have worked their way to each other.
He explained, "I think we went through a lot in COVID. I feel like we've come out the other side of it a bit stronger. Most couples who have been married for years struggled, right? So, I mean, we're still really happy to be here together today."
While Payne has seemingly moved on, Maya's Instagram profile still has photos of her happy times with the singer.
