The ‘One Direction’ star Liam Payne’s demise has left a deep impact among his fans and music lovers. Now the singer-songwriter Sam Pounds has revealed via his social media handle that the release of Liam Payne’s posthumous song ‘Do Not Wrong’ has been delayed.

Citing the reason that the fans need some time to process the untimely death of the ‘One Direction’ singer, the singer-songwriter Sam Pounds wrote on his social media handle that the release of his collaboration song with Liam Payne will only happen on November 1, Friday.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, Sam Pounds shared an update regarding Liam Payne’s posthumous song. Sam Pounds’ note read, “Today I’m deciding to hold ‘Do Not Wrong’ and leave those liberties to all family members. I want all proceeds to go to a charity of their choosing (or however they desire.)”


Sam Pounds further wrote, “Even though we all love the song it’s not the time yet. We are all still mourning the passing of Liam and I want the family to mourn in peace and prayer. We will all wait. With love Sam Pounds.”

Sam Pounds’ Instagram note also read, “We Will Wait. Let’s all take our time. We love you Liam. The family as a whole comes first. Let’s wait. Love & Blessings.”

Sam also shared a few screenshots of his earlier chats with Liam regarding the song. In the screenshots, Sam’s text is read, “Yea that’s where I got that part from. Your adlib,” to which Liam responds, “Sick”. Later Liam is seen sharing a voice note seemingly sharing improvisations to the song.

In the further screenshots, an all-excited Liam is seen asking Sam about the updates on the song, to which the latter responds, “Working it out as we speak.” From the post shared by Sam, it’s sure that Liam was equally excited for the release of the song.

Liam’s last message reply to the song’s rough cut reads, “Bro this is so big. WTF!.”
