​Nick Jonas reveals how fatherhood changed his life; calls daughter Malti 'the light of my world'

Almost a year after welcoming his first child with wife Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas is opening up about fatherhood and how playing dad to Malti Marie has changed his perspective on life.

At the Los Angeles premiere of his film 'The Good Half,' Nick told PEOPLE that becoming a father to his 2-year-old daughter, has changed his life. "I think that, for me, becoming a parent changed everything in my life and my perspective on everything," Jonas told the portal and added, "That's a natural thing obviously that will happen."

Nick also shared, "My daughter is the light of my world, and making projects that I'll be able to watch one day with her, is absolutely a goal. And this movie for sure is one of those."

The actor and singer was joined by wife Priyanka at the movie premiere on Tuesday night. This appearance came just days after the couple flew back to the US from Australia, where PeeCee was shooting the final leg of her next film titled 'The Bluff'. Both Nick and Malti joined her Down Under to spend quality time together and enjoy touring the country during their free time.

'The Bluff,' directed by Frank E. Flowers, will see Priyanka starring alongside Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo. After wrapping up 'The Bluff,' Priyanka will next begin preparations for the second season of the spy series 'Citadel'.
