Selena Gomez and beau Benny Blanco are all set to tie the knot! Ever since the news about their wedding dropped, fans have been elated and excited. In a recent video, the ‘Calm Down’ singers delved into how they’re managing and planning the wedding and even shared what kind of food will be served at the auspicious event!
Selena wishes to go beyond the ‘classics’
Selena revealed how she wants her wedding to be and specifically shared how she’s not looking forward to having a big cake. Instead, the singer shared that she would prefer a smaller dessert or cake for herself and her husband in order to have and freeze it to later commemorate the special day.
Not only that, but the 33-year-old shared her own unique idea of a wedding dessert as well! She shared, while referring to her Nana’s cooking, “My Nana’s biscuits and gravy. That sounds like dessert to me.”
More about the couple’s wedding
Ever since the two announced their engagement in December last year, preparations for the special day have been going in full force ahead. In a report from Daily Mail, the duo have been giving their wedding’s security an extra thought.
Since the occasion will be attended by close friends of the two singers, many of whom will include high-profile celebs and online personalities, they have been ramping up on all security measures for the wedding. A statement from the report read, “Security for Selena’s wedding will be of the utmost importance because not only is she a public figure, many of the guests will be too.”
This report comes following the leak that happened earlier this month. On July 14, the date, location, and guest list all were leaked online even though the couple had wished for a private event surrounded only by friends and family. The report also shared that the duo will be proceeding with the same venue as before but will have a lot more security on scene as compared to before.
