Hip Hop: Shady Records is owned by Eminem and this double disc album brings together singles from various artistes on the label (such as Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D12 and 50 Cent) as well as of course, a good helping of Em’s own tracks with various artistes on the label (such as My Band).

Surprisingly, there is also a song Let’s Roll performed by Yelawolf but featuring Kid Rock. And it may be hard to believe, but this collection spans around 15 years! As one would expect from a rapper who has an unparalleled flow when it comes to delivery, the title track features Eminem weaving in and out of the song with witty lines and rhymes. Psychopath Killer has Em, Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf exploring the darker side of hip hop. Die Alone and Fine Line (Em feat. Kobe and Em, respectively) are two tracks that you might have on repeat. Not only is the beat infectious in terms of sound and timing, both showcase what Em is best at – his brand of rap delivery. Unfortunately though, his absence is noticeable on tracks without him, and the music quality varies in those cases. Case in point — Down by Yelawolf and Bane by D-12 that can be seen as filler, for want of a better expression. Purple Pills, Wanksta (Fiddy) and Lose Yourself, however, take the quality right back up again.
