Shakira to give away her personalized purple Lamborghini to fans via a contest - Here's all you need to know

The bond between the stars and their fans cannot be described in words. There’s purity in their love and thus, often celebrities try to take the initiative to express their gratitude towards their fans. Like recently, Shakira announced that she will be giving away her personalized purple Lamborghini (that holds immense personal value to the singer) as a token of gratitude as the fans poured a lot of support and love into her song ‘Soltera’. To claim the car, the fans need to enter a contest based on the very song.

According to People, in a press release, Shakira gave a statement - “The car was a gift to myself as I began my single life, but I realized that what truly matters is human connection.” She referred to her split from ex-Gerard Piqué with the statement. She then added, “The car, the clothes, the material things—they don’t transform us. It’s the people we love and the connections we build that truly make a difference.”

How to enter the contest
Getting into the contest is very easy. People who are 18 years or older just need to upload a dance video on ‘Soltera’ (Spanish for single) on Instagram and TikTok with the hashtag #ElCarroDeShakira. The last date for submitting the video is November 25.

Thereafter, Shakira will select five finalists, whose fate will be determined by public voting. The winner will be announced on Despierta America, a Spanish-language morning show on December 6, 2024

Meanwhile, released on September 25, Shakira’s ‘Soltera’ topped the charts in no time. On the other hand, her album ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ (Women Don’t Cry Anymore), recently got a Grammy nomination in the Best Latin Pop Album category.
