Shelton, Stefani likely to throw baby-shower for Adam Levine

Singer Blake Shelton and girlfriend Gwen Stefani reportedly want to throw their friend Maroon 5 front-man, Adam Levine, a baby shower to honour the arrival of his first child.

Shelton and Stefani are very happy to know that their friend Levine is going to be a father, reported Hollywood Life. An insider revealed that the pair wanted to host the big event to honour Levine, his wife Behati Prinsloo and their yet unborn.

"Blake said wants to throw a baby shower with Gwen. He was half-joking, but he seems like he wants to be involved and be there for Adam, all jokes aside," a source said.

Shelton and Levine are best friends, so it's likely for them to plan the event together. Previously, it was reported that Shelton wanted to be the

Godfather

of Levine's child.

"Blake has already volunteered to be the Godfather, so he can show their little one the ropes. Everyone is thrilled, including Gwen and Christina," another source said.
