Just a day after the star released ‘Mr Perfectly Fine’, Taylor dropped a new single ‘

We Were Happy

’. The emotional track is yet another heartbreak tune, of the singer reminiscing her happier days with her now ex-lover.

‘I hate those voices telling me I'm not in love anymore/ But they don't give me choices and that's what these tears are for/ 'Cause we were happy, we were happy’ she sings in the emotionally charged bridge.

Shortly after the lyric video dropped on YouTube, fans took to Twitter to share their honest reactions to the track. Going by the tweets, Swifties were left feeling all things emotional with one even asking "Why is We Were Happy so sad?"
