Orientation session for new batch at Anant

New academic session to begin this week
With an aim to acquaint the incoming batch with its philosophy, an orientation programme was organised by the

Anant National University

on its premises for its

design

and

architecture

students on Sunday. Over 170 students participated in the event.

The students will unlearn pre-conceived notions of self and surroundings, while building critical life skills of collaboration, communication, problem solving, and critical thinking over the course of their foundation year.

The university has revamped its curriculum to provide more hands-on lea

rning through workshops, studio work, field trips, research projects, and internships during the programme. It also has a Makers’ Hub for conducting in-session, summer, and winter workshops, and collaborative classrooms to facilitate interdisciplinary learning.

The first module for various

courses

will begin this week and comprises many activities.
