Ahilyadevi Jayanti celebrated amidst dhol-tasha echoes

The city rejoiced in the celebrations of

Ahilyadevi Jayanti

when citizens gathered near

Konkanwadi

area of

Aurangabad

. The statue of the

Ahilyadevi Holkar

at the location was decorated with garlands and various other decorative items. The morning of the jayanti started with a bike rally wherein people of all age groups dressed in yellow phetas were seen chanting her glory on their bikes. Various esteemed faces of the city like Nandkumar Ghodele, Vikas Jain, and

Vijay Waghchoure

were also present during the rally. Going further, a dhol-tasha team also took to the rally in the later part of the day as they beautifully put forth their performance. Many were also seen dancing to their dhol tunes. Colourful flags, traditional music and decorations comprised of the Ahilyadevi Holkar jayanti in Aurangabad.
