. Ladies in the city on Wednesday gathered nearVenkatesh Mangal Karyalaya
to celebrate the festivity. Celebrated mostly by married women in India, Teej is a major Hindu festival. Women on Wednesday observed fast to attain long life for their husbands and marital bliss. The festival is also celebrated by single women and they too observed fast to fulfill their desire of getting an ideal husband. Since the celebration includes nature, the ladies made sure all the necessary arrangements were done and performed all the rituals accordingly. In the evening they gathered for haldi-kumkum ceremony. Taking the event forward, they also arranged for jaagran and next day they concluded their fast with consuming curd andrice
