Parwati Dutta and disciples perform Odissi at Dance Festival

Parwati Dutta

and disciples provided a peek into the world of traditional

Odissi

dance as they performed at the

Vayam Dance Festival

. The event held in Aurangabad saw dance buffs attend in large numbers as the dance troupe presented their skills. The festival commenced with a solo Odissi recital by Parwati Dutta. She presented Shivashtakam- an invocation to Lord Shiva. Parwati's performance was followed by Swati Prasad's Mohana Pallavi. One of the students from Argentina, Anandini presented Oriya Abhinaya.

Senior disciples Vaibhavi, Aishwarya and Bhargavi presented Raagmalika Pallavi after which Sheetal Bhamare presented Abhinaya on the Marathi song- Shodha Ga. The event concluded with a group invocation to Devi.
