Bengaluru folk get ready for vehicle-free weekends on Church Street from today

kickstarted its Vehicle-Free initiative starting today. Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa was at the inauguration along with other officials. The chief minister urged people to understand the aim behindvehicle
-free weekends on Church Street and urged everyone to be a part of the same and promotesustainable
behaviours.Several folks were seen enjoying their meals as they were seated on the pavement outside the respective safes and restaurants. This pilot project is set to run till February next year. After the inauguration, many people were seen taking to social media to share their experience of a traffic-free Church Street.
