Bengaluru through the lens: The city’s budding photographers capture the spirit of KR Market

On Sunday morning, Bengaluru’s KR Market turned into a playground for budding photographers, who captured its riot of colours, people and stories through their lenses. As part of the My City, My Click contest by Times of India Metro Supplements, a special photo walk with the theme ‘Street Photography in Burst Mode’ gave participants a chance to capture the market in all its glory. Leading the group was Zeeshan Mallick from Bangalore Photowalks, who guided participants through the bustling market lanes. “I believe KR Market is one of the best places in Bengaluru for a photo walk. People here are very camera-friendly, and that makes a photographer's job much easier," he shared.

Mastering the moment

During the event, participants received quick tips on using burst photography effectively before heading out to capture the city in action. The KR Market flower section quickly became a hotspot, with its vibrant colours and constant movement providing some of the day’s most striking shots.
