The latest edition of

Comic Con

in the city turned out to be a feast for

comic book

enthusiasts and geeks alike. Hordes of youngsters made a beeline to the Whitefield venue, where they were greeted by quirky

cosplayers

and numerous stalls selling interesting merchandise. A delight for pop culture fans, the cosplayers acts were inspired by comic books and gaming characters.
The event also served as a platform for international artistes who shared their personal journey with the audience. A small session by Australian cosplayer and 2019 champion of the World Cosplay Summit, AK Wirru, was among the highlights of this year’s edition. Meanwhile, graphic artist from the UK, Warwick Johnson Cadwell, who is known for creating characters such as Samurai Jack and Tank Girl, spoke on how he became a ‘skipper’. Popular US-based comic book illustrator Adam Ellis was also present at the event. And that’s not all. Enthusiasts were also treated to an act by comedian Sundeep Rao, along with a host of other performances.
