'Baap Re Baap' showcases why is it necessary to inform at home before leaving the house

was staged at the Tribal Museum.

The play is a light-hearted comedy which begins with a son who returns after a search for his father who has been missing for quite some time now. The family comprises of a couple, their son and a servant who lives with them. One fine day, the father leaves the house without informing anyone and doesn't come back. The family is devastated thinking about the mishappenings that could have happened with the father. They inform the cops and put up an ad on the TV about him. After watching the ad, two people - a pandit and an uncle tried to convince the family about 'fake' fathers they come up with. The family refused to agree with the two men. Towards the end of the play, the 'real' father comes back and shares that he was on a holiday without informing the family. Through the play, the director tried to give the message of not leaving the house without informing the family.
