’ has been working enthusiastically since some time now to revive the Nawabi culture and traditions in the city and in the hearts of the people. To mark the festive and wedding season the group recently organised an online ‘Pari Bazaar’ for the citizens. Coordinator of the event Rakshan Zahid shares, “The concept of

is more than 145 years old. Where only women entrepreneurs sold their products to the Begums and the women of the city. To mark the

festival of lights

and the on-going wedding season we thought no occasion can be more suitable than this to organise something like this” She further added that soon a physical form of the event too would be organised just like the way the royals organised it.

More than seventy five women who are working in different fields of designing, jewellery designing and beauty participated in this event. They shot videos showcasing their talent and then the videos were sent to the judges who further chose different winners. Apart from these many interesting sessions too were organised like a session on festive diet and skin care. While another one was about enhancing entrepreneurial skills. The main motive of the event was to encourage the women entrepreneurs of the city and to remind the people about the wonderful royal traditions which were once followed in the city.
