Bharatnatyam performers bring out Radha-Krishna love story

performed with their troupe in front of a delighted audience in the city recently. Apoorva, who also happens to be a doctorate in Astronomy teamed up with Shweta to showcase classical performances at Tribal Museum. The dance was performed to a Sanskrit shlok

Kararavindena Padaravindam

followed by a dance on Yasmin Nratyayati. The classical dance depicted the charm and beauty of the child Lord Krishna.

Further on, artistes performed a dance on Ka esha mathura, vedi mitho ghate in raga Mand, a melodious Raga which is quite difficult to perform. Besides this, a dance on raga Bageshri showed the emotion of woman who is waiting to unite with her lover.



Angulya kaha kavatam praharthi depicting loving moments between Radha and Krishna with a live music performance, was shown in a dance-drama format. It was composed by Rajkumar Bharti and supported by Vijayaraghavan on the Mridang.
