City college turns into helpline call centre

The citizens of Bhopal are contributing in all the ways they can to help the corona warriors do their jobs. A private

college

has offered their infrastructure to the district

administration

from where they are coordinating all the calls of 108 and 104. In this the arrangements have been made according to the protocols that are being followed across the nation. If a person calls on 104 the person receiving the call gives the person the necessary medical information needed. And the number 108 is being dialed when a medical

emergency

like an accident happens. In the present time the call centre

executives

are working in two shifts following the rule of social distancing. The director of the college

Sidharth Chaturvedi

says, “This is an unfortunate situation that the

nation

is facing It’s the responsibility of all the citizens to do their part to help people out and we are doing our part. This is a great honour for us that the district administration is able to use the facilities of our institute to help people. We have earlier too helped people by providing them with mobile banking services and raw material for food.”
