IG Bhopal’s first photo walk after unlock

IG Bhopal community

of photographers in Bhopal have been active since the time they have formed the group. Right from organising photo walks in the city to organising outstation photo walks the group has been leaving no stone unturned to give the photographers an experience which they generally cannot experience when they go alone. Due to the pandemic and the lockdown the photo walks which happened regularly had come to a standstill. But recently a photo walk was organised following the rules of the new normal. The photographers went to Saru Maru and Jhiri in the Ratapani forest area which is nearby the city. The photo walk saw a participation of ten amateur photographers.

The photo walk began at eight in the morning where the group covered places like Kolar road, Jhiri,

Kari Ke Mahadev

Kolar Dam

, Joliyapur Dam and then lastly Saru Maru. Coordinator the group Sachin Joshi shares, “This was the first trip that we all took and it was scary but we took all the necessary precautions. Not even once did we allow anyone to take off their masks. The place Saru Maru which we chose gives a photographer a lot of opportunities to click different things. archaeological site

of

Buddhist caves

. The site is located near village Pan Guradia of Budhni tehsil of Sehore district. The site has many stupas as well as natural caves for monks. Many Buddhist frescoes like Swastika, Triratna, and Kala have been found in the caves . Two inscriptions of Ashoka were found in the main cave, one of Ashoka's editors, and one inscription mentions the visit of Ashoka's son Mahendra Kumar. According to other inscriptions, when
