Archita hopes her fans will see her in different kinds of films next year

The actress, who was last seen in

Abhiman

opposite Sabyasachi, has not accepted any film offers since then. “I am waiting for a different kind of film. I have done so many films on simple love stories, regular hero-heroine stuff that now I want to work in projects that give me a distinct identity and the story is unusual. I am hopeful that in the beginning of next year, something will materialise,” said the Archita, who had done some women-oriented films in her career including

Champion

, in which she had played the role of a boxer.

In her search for good films, she said few years back she was without any projects for almost 12 months. She added that when there are very few good films made, you have to compromise with quality. Else you will have no films to work in. When she is not busy in film projects, she attends events or engages herself in shooting for brands she is associated with. “When there is no film, my brand promotion activities take up around 10 days and attending events also take some time. When I am at home, I take rest and do nothing. I don’t even indulge in cooking or watching TV. I love spending time engrossed in my own world,” said the actress.
