Film’s music release was a happening affair

The music release of the

Odia film

Jor Ka Jhatka

, was held recently at a city hotel. In attendance were the cast and crew members of the film. It was a gala evening comprising performances by the film’s music team. A few of the guests unveiled the music CD.

The film stars Deepak Kumar and

Pinky Priyadarshini

in lead roles. The lead pair, along with comedians Harihara Mohapatra, Pragyan Khatua, the director Pinu Nayak, music director

Abhijeet Majumdar

and singers Anshuman, Lipsa Mohapatra were present at the event. It was a fun-filled evening, with Deepak and Abhijeet shaking a leg to the beats of the songs crooned by the singers during the event. The team members also shared their experience of acting in this film and appealed people to watch Odia films as several artists depend on this industry.

“The film has several songs and all are unique in their own way. Like in most of my films, I have experimented with some of the songs. I hope people will like them,” said the music director. He added that he was aware that many people criticise Odia music these days, but he assured that things are changing, and it would keep changing in future. “Instead of becoming critical of the music industry, we must love it and show our support so that it grows and does better,” said Majumdar.
