Gita Govinda

’, written by 12th century poet Jayadev, with all classical dance forms in India. Organised by National Culture Mission, in association with the department of culture, the festival will end on Thursday. The festival provides opportunity for young and new talents to perform during the day and renowned artistes in the evening.

dancer from Marinette, Wiacconsin, USA got the Sri Jayadev Ratsriya Yuva Purskar, also known as Sri Jayadev National Youth Award on this occasion. “It is a great platform for young and talented dancers to perform along with experts in front of a keen audience. I have come from the US to perform here and I'm happy to show my Kathak dancing skills at the festival,” said the danseuse.
