Art blooms at new address of art gallery, showcasing diverse Indian art
An art gallery celebrated their new address with an exhibition, ‘Bahar’, on March 7.
"It was time to have a dedicated space for all our artistic endeavors, one that would serve as AIM’s official and ongoing exhibition space. The new venue is envisioned as a dedicated cultural hub for curated exhibitions, art based sessions, and workshops. Designed as more than just a display space, it is a thoroughly prepared environment where art and community engagement come together,” say the founders of the gallery, Gurpreet Kaur and Munish Jauhar.
Meaning “season of bloom,” Bahar reflects renewal, resurgence, and artistic cross-pollination. The exhibition, which is on till March 15, brings together celebrated masters and compelling emerging voices from across India, presenting a powerful exchange between generations, practices, and perspectives. “Visitors can expect a rich spectrum of works — paintings, sculptures, abstracts, and traditional forms — representing the evolving narrative of India’s art landscape. With participation spanning multiple states and regions, the exhibition embodies a truly pan-Indian creative spirit,” add the curators. Works by some of the prominent artists include names like Vikash Kalra, Anjanyelu G, Viren Tanwar, Pradiptaa Chakraborty, Pardeep Singh, Paribartan Mohanty, Datta Bansode, Gurmeet Marwah, Babu Xavier, and Throngkiuba Yimchungru. The showcase also features works by senior and master artists such as M. F. Husain, S. H. Raza, Thota Vaikuntam, Jogen Chowdhury, Prokas Karmakar, Suhas Roy, and Rabin Mondal.
The exhibition week also includes thoughtfully curated engagements. On March 8, the gallery hosted an insightful session on “Sikh Legacy: Preserving Tangible & Intangible Heritage” with Amardeep Singh.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the latest Hindi movies, upcoming Hindi movies in 2026 , and Telugu movies.”
