Changing themes of fresher parties

Gone are the days when Fresher Day celebrations at college were a traditional affair, focusing only on musical extravaganza, on-the-spot competitions etc. With innovation driving the scenario, new concepts have come to replace the old ones. Recently, a college in the

outskirts

of Chandigarh organized a rollicking freshers party, which had

Bollywood

as its main theme. Each performance, event was inspired by Bollywood. While students wore colorful clothes, the celebrations were high on entertainment and

filmy

dose. After lamp lighting ceremony, the students performed several folk dances. Later, a live performance on a popular Bollywood track also took place. While series of events turned things lively, food and gaming stalls at the event kept everyone busy. The other attractions of the fest were couple dance competition, song dedication, Bollywood collage making etc.
