When DJ Suketu warned people to brace themselves, he wasn't kidding.
Armed with bombastic tracks he had his work cut out. The city's largest party, Chennai Times Colour Nites, drew hundreds of revellers from across the metro. From the moment the DJ got behind the console, he set the floor on fire.
He kicked off the evening with a smooth Bollywood number and gradually upped the decibel factor.
It was perhaps Chennai's most exciting and highly charged event, with a sashaying, celebratory atmosphere that felt more like Rio. While the party touched a new high in terms of celeb turnout, it also attracted the young and adventurous by the hordes. Actor Bharath had the time of his life, turning up all neat and tucked in while Vijay Adhiraj and his wife Rakshna were all praise for the DJ's beats.A night of sensory overload and definitely one to remember.
