Ethiraj College's Spice girls

It’s a whirlpool of talent at Ethiraj College for Women. That’s what CT found when we visited the campus for the Chennai Times Fresh Face 2010 powered by itimes.com.
Greeted by a hall packed to capacity with girls brimming with energy, every participant was a star in their own right, Mahalakshmi kicked off the show with a bang. In the words of one of the judges, RJ Ajai, “Just when we felt that one was an excellent performance, it was followed by one that was even better.Just when one girl got our attention, the next swept us off our feet.” Television personality Bosskey, who shared the judging table with Ajai, couldn’t but agree.
After a very tight competition, Shakthi’s sheer energy won her the first place, followed by Jayashree’s mimicry. Mahalakshmi bagged the third spot followed by Aarthi, Harini and Geetha. Samantha’s graceful moves also got the attention of the judges.
