Game for some gaming?

The official launch of the gaming lounge- Blur, at Sathyam Cinemas was an extremely enjoyable affair.
The evening kick- started with an introduction to Blur at one the theatres, and the simultaneous launch of the popular game series Gears of War- 2. Tan Ngaronga the COO said of Blur, ���With this gaming lounge all of us can be kids again, and get our adrenaline pumping.���
This was followed by a celebrity play- off, and stars like Vijay Yesudas, directors Vijay and Linguswamy and Abbas sportingly participated even as they competed against each other in the game- Burnout Revenge.Thereafter, everyone headed up to the levels 4, 5 and 6 where the gaming lounge is actually located. The wii and X- Box zones were without doubt the most popular, but the good old arcade games were still enjoyed by all. The SS music gang turned up in full attendance and had an absolute blast trying out all the games, while actress Meena maintained a low profile. Popcorn and beverages were circulated in good measure throughout the evening, keeping everyone satiated and energetic. Chennai sure seems to be all set to game!
