2019, powered by Senco Gold & Diamonds, concluded successfully on Friday with an intimate ceremony to award the winners. The debut edition of the awards received an overwhelming response from women entrepreneurs from across the country. Over thousands of entries were received from women in Chennai and each was a story of hard work, dedication and passion. A panel of judges, comprising Sanjeev Kapoor, Koushik Shankar, Tarun Mahadevan, Shantanu and Nikhil Mehra, Karun Raman, Rehane, Dr Sam Paul, Samantha Jagan, Dorris Godambe, Aalim Hakim, Ambika Pillai and Sairee Chahal sifted through entries, engaged in a dialogue with participants, heard stories of determination and courage, and finally selected 13 entrepreneurs in three categories — beauty, food and fashion out of which 2 were gamechangers, 5 were winners and 6 were rising stars.
It was indeed a big day for winners as they received their Times She UnLTD Awards trophies and certificates from Karun Raman and Rehane. The winners also received special gold pendants by Senco Gold & Diamonds. Senco Gold & Diamonds, in existence for over 80 years, believes true beauty is internal. They are proud to be associated with Times She UnLTD Entrepreneur Awards 2019 and to honour inspiring women achievers and winners, who shape and make the world a better place to live in.
On her association with the inaugural edition of Times She UnLTD Entrepreneur Awards 2019, Rehane said, “The team has done a great job by giving accolades to all the achievers and I think their journey starts from here. I wish them all the best!”
Echoing her feelings was Karun Raman who said, “It’s great to be part of such an initiative that encourages women to do what they like. I had a lovely time judging the contestants.”
