This was the message behind a rock concert held in Delhi recently.
This was the message behind a rock concert held in Delhi recently. Part of a five-city tour ���Shut Up and Vote���, the concerts are a joint venture of the Jaago Re campaign and a Bangalore-based rock band, Thermal and a Quarter.
The band is using music as a tool to encourage the youth to cast their vote. And despite a low audience turnout here, their performance was quite a spirited one.
A local band, Phoenix, performed too.
Sharat, national convener, Jaago Re campaign, said, ���Our idea is to bring a change, and for that we are using various mediums, be it the internet, mobile phones, hoardings, or such tours. We want the youth to participate actively in the campaign.��� You have our support, Sharat!
