Handicrafts exhibition held in Delhi
INTERESTING ART: It was quite an interesting mix of designs, installations and thought processes that made up this exhibition. Held at the IGNCA in the city, this was more than just a glance-through event. Made In…India: Samskara, was all about Indian handicrafts and the artisan, who, as many fear, is losing out in the race to a mechanised future. There were installations to be looked at, crafts to be admired, and art to be discussed.

And the guests, artists, designers, collectors, and critics, did all this.
FABULOUS CONCEPT: The exhibition was inaugurated by Gennady Terebkov of Be Open, and Chandresh Kumari Katoch, minister of culture, along with Sunil Sethi, the curator of the exhibition. “I liked the whole concept. I couldn’t leave without looking at each and every thing,” said Kavuru Sambasiva Rao, minister of textiles.
