Indian Army exhibits its artillery at Delhi mall

The Nation is gearing up to celebrate its 73rd Independence Day and Patriotic fervor is rising day by day. Amid the excitement, Indian Army, which is the pride of every Indian, on Monday organised an Artillery Exhibition in association with Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden and One World Foundation. During the exhibition, it displayed its artillery comprising of Bofors weapons, Artillery guns, Infantry weapons, Air Defence guns and Army Engineering equipment.

The event was aimed at attracting people to its fold, especially the youths. With the Pacific Mall being one of the most visited mall of Delhi NCR, a large number of visitors had the unique opportunity to witness various weapons and equipment.

The day started with exhibiting of the weapons amid various band performances. The patriotic tunes played by Army Band at regular intervals mesmerised one and all in one of the most sought after shopping destination of Delhi NCR. A Live Painting session was also organised on this occasion and it also helped in engaging the audience throughout the day.

During the Exhibition, the Army displayed weaponry including– Bofors Gun,

, Night Vision Devises, UBGL, 130 MM Gun, Infantry Weapon, Bomb Disposal Squad,

Commando

Kit and Sniper Suit. Mr. Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Mall said, “We are immensely proud and honoured to get an opportunity to host the Indian Army exhibiting their artillery on 73rd Independence Day at our mall. The event, while igniting the feeling of patriotism is also intended towards encouraging the youth to join the Indian Army.”
