Maitreyi College organises Internship Fair

The Placement Cell of

Maitreyi College

organised its first Internship and Placement Fair, Envision 2019 in the college premises. More than 60 companies participated in the fair and offered internship and employment opportunities to students from

Commerce

,

Science

and Humanities background. Various NGOs like Pratham, Teach for India and Jagori also attended the fair. Approximately 1400 students registered, out of which 500 students sat for the initial round of interviews. Close to 150 students were offered internship and job opportunities.

The fair enabled students to network with companies, identify potential job opportunities and enhance their professional communication skills. Both students and recruiters expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation for the platform provided to them. Haritma Chopra, Prinicpal of
