Natya Tarangini celebrated its 48th anniversary

Established in 1976 by Padma Bhushan Awardees Dr Raja and Radha Reddy and Dr Kaushalya Reddy, Natya Tarangini - The Performing Arts Centre was founded to globalise the Kuchipudi style of Indian classical dance and music. Today, after 48 years of dedicated effort, Natya Tarangini has expanded its focus beyond Kuchipudi to become a comprehensive arts institute dedicated to preserving and promoting India's rich cultural heritage of dance and music.

The Annual Day Celebration, held at the Raja Radha Rangmanch Amphitheatre marked the institute's 48th Anniversary Celebration along with World Dance Day. Distinguished guests such as Jagaish Chokhani, Jatin Choudhary with wife Charu Singh, and others graced the occasion to witness the performances of our talented disciples.

The event featured a diverse repertoire of dance items, including traditional pieces like Gananathaya, Dashavataram, and Jaideva Ashtapadi, alongside contemporary interpretations like My Heart is a Temple and Bhamakalapam. Each performance showcased the versatility and dynamism of our students under the guidance of our esteemed gurus Raja Radha Reddy, Kaushalya Reddy, Yamini Reddy, and Bhavana Reddy.

The Annual Day Celebration serves as a testament to the talent, dedication, and creativity nurtured at Natya Tarangini. It is a joyous occasion that brings our community together to celebrate the enduring beauty and transformative power of dance. Raja Radha Reddy said, "Natya Tarangini's 48th Annual Day celebration has shown that the nation, Bharat is rooted in its glorious tradition of dancers and our disciples have shown the greatness of Kuchipudi Dance style which provide distinguishing experience of our Bharat."
