Actor Arjun Rampal and filmmaker Rahul Mittra joined a clean up drive in Miramar

It was a perfect day for a clean up drive. Under the banner of Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Sath, actors Arjun Rampal and Rahul Mittra along with other locals joined in the clean up mission at Miramar Beach, on October 1.

From collecting over 100 garbage bags of plastic, papers and ghost nets - it was an hour dedicated to Shramdaan for Swachhata.
The event was organised by Principal Director of Income Tax (Investigation) Panaji in association with Goa Tourism Development Corporation, Rotary Club and El Shaddai, the drive was also joined by nature enthusiasts, school children and youth.

Talking to Goa Times, actor Arjun Rampal said, “It’s our responsibility to leave a clean planet for our successive generations and each one of us should strive to be responsive towards cleanliness.”

Adding to this actor Rahul Mittra, said, “I am elated to see the impressive turnout, especially the school children who braved the rains to take part in this great initiative. I urge everyone not to trash our future and keep our surroundings clean."
