Goa’s spookfest

Goa’s nightclubs have converted themselves into ghost towns, all through the last weekend and earlier this week, while celebrating Halloween, which was on Wednesday. Most of the party places on that day were decorated in

spooky

spiders, carved pumpkins, scary mummies, coffins, cobwebs, skeletons and ghostly figures. Party-goers and DJs dressed in all sorts of spooky costumes — man eating monsters, zombies, ghosts, evil princesses, witches and contemporary movie character-influenced attires — flocked to the nightclubs to party the evening away. As face painters got busy converting humans into zombies, mixologists and chefs got busy serving Halloween inspired cocktails and snacks! It was indeed a night to remember for costume-party-lovers!
Royce Coutinho, whose costume was inspired by mobile toilets, says, “The entire look was basically a construction worker lifting a mobile toilet. Illusion Halloween costumes has always inspired me, and every year I try to outdo myself compared to the previous year. Being an architect for a construction company, I got inspired seeing mobile toilets that make so much of a difference for a cleaner environment.”
