Heritage walk on world tourism day
The students and staff of the Department of Business Administration (Travel & Tourism) of Don Bosco College, Panaji participated in the heritage walk organised by Incredible India in association with TTTAG, SKAL and Goa Tourism on 27 September 2023. The representatives of “Make It Happen” a travel based organisation, guided the walk explaining the students and staff about the rich heritage and history of Campal, starting from the famous Kala Academy till Inox and Maquinez palace. It was indeed an eye-opener for all the students as they could learn about the historical facts of Goa by actually visiting the places that have their own stories attached to them. This activity was organised to commemorate the World Tourism Day which is celebrated globally on 27 September.
