Lecture on 6 Sigma – Quality Management of Process at Don Bosco college, Panaji

Don Bosco college, Panaji, conducted a guest lecture on August 8, 2023 on the topic: 6 Sigma – Quality Management of Process, for the
Third-year students of BBA and BBA (Travel and Tourism). The Cultural Secretary, Sarah Cabral gave a brief introduction of the
guest speaker, Siddhant Prabhu Velgenkar, Quality Technician, currently working with CommScope India.

Siddhant Prabhu Velgenkar began the session by explaining the importance of Quality Management in the industry. He later went on
to explain the different concepts of lean six sigma, distribution curve, process capability, methodology DMAIC, DMADV, 7QC tools, 5S and
Kaizen. The students were very intrigued by the lecture topic and they interacted with the guest speaker enthusiastically.
