Literary buffs had a ball at this fest

The Art Boulevard', an intercollege literary fest at

St. Francis

College for Women,

Begumpet

was a treasure trove for literary buffs with several students from city colleges in attendance.

This annual fest organised by the department of English and the Literary club of the college, saw literature enthusiasts take part in poetry and open mic events besides indulging in some book-shopping at the venue.

The fest was a colourful affair dotted with stalls comprising a host of art works, photographs, books, cupcakes made by the students.

And yes, there was some naach-gaana to go with too, with the event ‘Out with the New’ where students tapped their feet to retro-themed numbers. The

food truck

was one of the most happening spots with students making a beeline to sample the dishes served by several eateries.

An interesting guest-lineup featuring the likes of storytellers Deepa Kiran, Santosh Mohan Veeranki, Tina Sequira, writer Anupama Dalmia, actor Sai Ronak, Minimol Shibu, and dancer Sujarita kept the students hooked.
