Appeal to specially-abled voters through dance
As the voting date for
Indore
in the phase 3 of MP'sLok Sabha
polling, efforts to raise the number of voters in the city has gone up too. In a recent program conducted by SVEEP Indore at Rajwada, the nodal officer and collector appealed to specially-abled i.e. divyaang voters to exercise their right to vote fordemocracy
. To keep them motivated, aKathak
on the voting anthem was showcased by the shisyas of Dr.Ragini Makkhar
. Similar to the previous program, they matched their steps to the tunes of 'matdaan ki ab puri tyyari hai, nar se aage naari hai'. The group also included deaf and mute Kathak dancer from Indore, Bulbul Paanjare, who also appealed to specially-abled audience through sign language.end of article
