in the city has been seeing a series of cultural performances which is captivating the visitors’ attention.

The stage is being set alive with

folk performances

from states across the nation. While Tuesday evening saw 27 artistes creating a Marathi vibe on the stage by performing folk dance forms like Lavani, Malhari and Gondhal, Wednesday and Thursday called for some Gujarati and Rajasthani flavour to the festival, respectively. Artistes performed the folk dance Padhar and

Garba

of Gujrat and had the visitors in awe with their twirls and merriment on the stage. Another set of enthrallers on Thursday performed the traditional Kalbelia dance from Rajasthan. Dancers wearing elaborate costumes put up a great show and left the visitors wanting for more.
