Friendly cookoff revived the inner chef of these party goers

Last weekend

Indore

witnessed one of the most exciting and multi-cuisine cookery competition organised by the

Maheshwari Yugals

(youth from heart) involving around two hundred contestants under the leadership of their President Sanjay Sapna Baheti and Secretary Lokesh Neha Mandhaniya. It was organised very meticulously at

Ramkrishna Bagh

Marriage Garden on Dhar Road with teams divided into Desi (Gujarati/ Rajasthani/ Punjabi) and Videshi (Chinese/ Mexican/ Italian) themes. Not only the costumes of the groups but also the ambience & decor of the venue was very well illustrating the theme that they were in. Apart from these teams there were couples who made instant dishes out of the "Mystery Box" ingredients provided. Last but not the least, the Kids group came up with mind blowing innovative Fireless Cooking recipes on their platters.

"Masterchef Yugals - Swaad ke Ustaad" was hosted by Anchor Namrata Sahu and judged by the distinguished Chefs & Food Enthusiasts of the city namely Satyajeet David, Amit Pamnani, Astha Mahajan, Ekta Arora, Parul Sukhwani and Vikramjeet Singh. Dal Makhani & Fajito were acclaimed to be the best Desi Dishes while Lasagna and Mojito with Mango & Jalapeno were the best Videshi Dishes. Apart from the various other categories adjudged, the Title under Desi Category was bagged by the Gujarati Team, Videshi Category by the Mexican Team and Yugals Category by the Punjabi Team. The enthusiasm with which this event was conceptualised, executed and co-ordinated by Maheshwari Yugals Coordinators Piyush Shruti Mundhra, Balkishan Anju Mandhanya, Ram Smita Kasat & Sanjay Vaishali Maheshwari is commendable.
