It's the season of re-runs of mythological shows and the

Indore police

are riding the wave with an interesting message from

Yamraj

. Yes, you read that right! The god of death visited the city on Friday night for a cause.
Alright, it wasn't actually Yamraj but Indore police constable Jawahar Singh who donned the avatar to warn those who were violating

lockdown

norms, promising to take them to his 'yamlok' if they continued breaking rules. Singh's getup grabbed eyeballs and delivered the message home.

The initiative by Indore Police was aimed at spreading

awareness

about staying home and and practicing social distancing. Speaking about the same,

Harinarayanchari Mishra

, DIG Indore, says, "We had used the Yamraj act for road safety awareness too. Sometimes, these acts help us emphasise upon the message in a better way, while adding a fun twist."
