City artists display abstract art at JKK

Jaipur has no dearth of creativity and when it comes to art exhibitions, the choice is endless. Two young city artists

Shiv Lal Bagria

and

Indrajeet Singh

recently exhibited their artworks at a show titled ‘Way of Oil Colours’ at Jawahar Kala Kendra.

The show, inaugurated by artist Shakir Ali, began on August 22 and continued till August 26 at Parijat I. It showcased the paintings in abstract art forms.

Explaining his art, Shiv Lal a businessman-cum-painter says, “It’s been 20 years since I have been painting but never exhibited my artwork. This is my maiden attempt and I am overwhelmed with the response of public as well as art critics. The best was to receive appreciation from famous artist Himmat Shah who saw my artwork.” Another painter Indrajeet displayed his paintings in acrylic. He took inspiration from abstract form of art.
