Jaipur celebrates Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary

Bollywood legend Raj Kapoor comes alive as Jaipurites pay their tribute to him on his 100th birth anniversary. Celebrating his impact on Indian cinema, Rotary Club Jaipur Crown and Rotary Club Jaipur Udaan hosted a musical evening Awara Hoon. The non-stop musical marathon at Albert Hall was very well attended by prominent dignitaries, music lovers and fans of the legendary film maker.

Paying a tribute to his legacy, musicians and singers came together and presented his songs. Event Chairman Vishal Gupta and Director Vinod Garg expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries and participants for their invaluable contributions. The event concluded with a special ceremony honouring all the musicians for their dedication and for creating a delightful and memorable experience for the audience. Present on the occasion were MLA Gopal Sharma, MLA Balamukundacharya Maharaj, North Western Railway CPRO Captain Shashi Kiran, Rotary Club's esteemed DG Rakhi Gupta, and PDG Ajay Kala.
