Pakistani folk singer Sain Zahoor perform at the Jaipur Literature Festival

The last two days of the music stage of the Jaipur Literature Festival reverberated with the tunes from across the border. Pakistani folk singer Sain Zahoor’s performance was a big hit with the audience. Advocating the message of love and tolerance, Sain’s hour-long performance with his iktara created the perfect ambience.
It was followed by a performance by Band Dub Colossus, presenting elements of jazz music, and featured the vocal talents of PJ Higgins and Mykaell S Riley.
Day four, which was the last of the musical evenings, witnessed a record number of audiences. Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s influence was visible in his nephew Rizwan when he performed for the guests. Also spotted enjoying the music was polo player Shailendra Singh with his wife and TV actress Sangeeta Ghosh.
