Alongside the sections that feature horticulture, floriculture, landscape, gardening and botanic categories of plants, herbs, fertilisers and flowers, the event also has cactus and succulents, flowering plants, all seasonal fruits, hanging plants, wide ranges of roses, orchids and anthurium as part of it. The flower fest also has seeds of various plants, herb varieties, exotic and rare plants, pot collections and more, lined up.
According to Reena Jolly, a homemaker who was at the event, “It’s great to see some good quality plants and flowers here, alongside exotic plant varieties. I picked up a few pots and seeds, and also found the prices to be reasonable. At a time in which many similar yearly events of the city got cancelled due to the pandemic and other restrictions, I had some fun at this fest. The hanging plants on display seem to be inviting quite a bit of interest from many others too.”
The event also has a few online contests as part of it, such as the trivia contest that asks questions based on the plants on display.
