Kochi welcomes 2019 with a bang

Malayalis bid adieu to an eventful year and welcomed 2019 with fireworks, music, food and sharing happiness with friends and family. On New Year’s Eve in Kochi, Pappanji was burnt during the Cochin Carnival in Fort Kochi marking the beginning of another fresh year. The city also saw Mollywood celebs including Prayaga Martin, Gopi Sunder, Sreenath Bhasi, Sushin Shyam, PG Abhilash and Ranjini Haridas turning up at a New Year party organised by a prominent restaurant where musician Neha Nair put on spell-binding performance.
