MACTA Film Festival showcases best of women filmmakers

The event started off on November 1, in Kochi
The MACTA Women’s International Film Festival was kickstarted at St Teresa’s College on November 1, with eminent figures from the field of cinema, the arts and other walks of life present at the inaugural function. inaugurated the event, while National Award-winning actress Seema Biswas was welcomed as the festival director at the three-day event. The documentary, titled Khartium Offside, which has been showcased at major international film festivals, was screened. Other films that were screened were Ritcher Scale 7.6, A Day for Women, Bad Bad Winter and 15 Park Avenue, among others.
